Ladywell champion knocked out at quarter-final stage

Ladywell's Ladies Champion, Bernie Jermin went down in a hard-fought away match in the quarter-finals of the Beckenham, Bromley & District Bowling Association's Singles knockout competition on Wednesday 21st July.

In searing 29-degree heat, Bernie's opponent from South Hill Wood BC won the close-run contest by 21-15 after 22 ends and goes through to the semi-finals.
