Ladywell Bowling Club

Ladywell played their third match in the Round Robin stage of the Ron Hams Cup on Saturday 27th June, with a home bowls game against Dulwich Park. Having already won the away fixture in May, Ladywell were hoping to do the double over Dulwich Park and further their chances of finishing in the top two places in the table, which would mean qualification for the Cup final later in the season.

On 16th June, Ladywell played a friendly bowls match away at West Beckenham. On a beautifully warm afternoon, the match lived up to its billing as a friendly, with three triples games played in a very relaxed atmosphere, and in good company.

Ladywell played their second Round Robin bowls match in the Ron Hams Cup at Southwark Park on Saturday 6th June. And they were hoping to build on their convincing win in their opening match. The format for the Ron Hams Cup sees a singles, pairs and triples match played simultaneously, with the winning club on each rink gaining two points. Ladywell were narrowly beaten in the Ron Hams Bowls Cup final in 2025, so they're hoping to go one better this year. And they kicked off this season's campaign with a Round Robin match, away at Dulwich Park. Ladywell Bowling Club's Bowls Open Day on Sunday 24th May saw more than 40 new bowlers try bowls for the first time.

Ladywell played a friendly bowls match away at their nearest local rivals, Francis Drake, on Saturday 23rd May. And in sweltering heat, it proved to be a very close match.
