Ladywell pair into quarter-finals of BBDBA Cup

Ladywell's brother and sister pairing of Mark and Kim Simmons won their second round match in the Beckenham, Bromley & District Bowling Association pairs competition on Thursday 15th July in a tight match against a pair from HSBC Bowling Club.

Mark and Kim got off to an excellent start and just past the halfway point, they were leading by 22-9. But then the HSBC pair staged a comeback and with one end to play, the scores were tied at 22-all. Fortunately on the last end, the Ladywell pair managed to claim the points they needed to move into the next round, winning by 24-22.

Congratulations to Mark and Kim - their quarter-final match will be played at Ladywell's green against Bromley Town and needs to be completed before 8th August.
