Ladywell Triple into Kent divisional Quarter-Finals

Richard Moorhouse, Mark Simmons and Phil Welch won a closely-fought contest against a team from King's Bowling Club in New Eltham on Thursday evening to reach the quarter-finals of the Kent County Division One Section A Triples knock-out competition.

It was a very even contest early on, but the Ladywell team scored 3 on the ninth end, which put them 10-6 ahead at the halfway point. They pulled away to lead 17-7 after 15 ends and, although the King's team made a spirited comeback, the final score was 17-13 to Ladywell.

The quarter-final will be an away match at the Metropolitan Police club in Hayes, played on Thursday 17th June. Good luck to the team!
